DANIEL VAN DER HOEVEN 4th and 5th April ,
2 day MX event for Banbury MX Club @ Bletchington
The races where held over 5 races.
Because of the weather forecast they ran 4 races on the Sunday so there was only 1 race left for the Monday in case it was raining overnight or the Monday.
Daniel had 2 seconds in the first 2 races.
In the third race he had a good start and managed to overtake Jayden (the winner from the first two races) and won the race with a bike length.
The Fourth race was won by Daniel and he was more dominant this time.
The last race on the Monday was making the decision because Daniel 2 wins and so had Jayden.
It was a very close race watched a lots of people on the track with a lot of changing the leader position. Daniel managed to secure the first position in the last lap and that made him overall winner.
DANIEL VAN DER HOEVEN 11th April,
MX event for club champion Banbury MX Club @ Bletchington
Daniel flipped his bike on the starting line in the first race. This made him leaving the starting gate in 27th position.
After 2 laps was he in 4th place. When Daniel made a move to take a 3th place, he lost control in the corner (at a yellow flag), dropped his bike but managed to stay in 4th.
The riders in first and second position were too far in front.
Because the first 2 riders where overtaking after a yellow flag, they had 10 points deducted what moved Daniel up to 2nd place. If he didnt drop his bike in that corner he would had also 10 points taken away what would had put him in 12th place!!
In the second race he had a good start and was 4th in the first corner and managed to work his way up to the first place in 2 laps. In the last lap his exhaust broke off so he was black flagged when his was in the lead.
In the last race the managed to get the hole shot and kept the lead position for the whole race.
Overall he got 5th.
